Part 2 takes place 50 years after the original Beast of Burden chapter. To reflect the time differential we moved to the 5th edition of D&D. New characters were created however, they were all somehow linked to the original characters from Beast of Burden.

This game is set in the 2nd edition Forgotten Realms campaign setting. It begins in the Moonsea region of Faerun, near the city of Phlan.

We used the D&D 5th edition rules for this chapter. We were all still pretty new to the 5th edition ruleset.
Planar Travel

For this campaign I utilized the DCC worldbook of Hubris to flesh out a new plane.

That's right! I took the players through the classic AD&D adventure, Expedition to Barrier Peaks. I updated it to 5th edition.

Oh yes! I pulled out all the stops and converted Spelljammer to 5th edition (way before it was ever released officially).

A half-orc Paladin, who is the grandson to the cleric Thad from Burden of the Beast.

A human ranger, who is a distant relative of one of the NPC's from Burden of the Beast.
