A life long soldier in the English army, he has the power to manifest items with a plasma like energy creating ultra powerful weapons. Naturally born with this power it first manifested at puberty. Strake utilized this power in a career serving in His Majesty's Army. He climbed the ranks during the American Revolution amongst other conflicts to become the leader in his own special ops squad. Now, after the emergence of HAA, he has been tasked to lead an independent superhero squad to find the source of and defeat HAA, in the name of The King of England - much to the chagrin of Nikolai who fought against the English. Long Live The King!!

Nikolai

The Master of Dirt Nikolai is originally from Russia. He moved to America as a young man for a better life. Getting caught up in the revolution he fought for the Americans but was captured by mercenary French Canadians. It was while being tortured under imprisonment by these mercenaries that his power manifested. Nikolai could control all forms of dirt, rock and earth with his mind manipulating it's form and action.  After he escaped he went home to Portland, Maine where he continued to reside after the war becoming a local terror to any French Canadian he came across. Prone to violence and full of hate he has travelled across the Atlantic to search for a deeper meaning and purpose in his life, ever teetering on the narrowing precipice between good and evil.

Spectrum

Maxwell, as he's known to the masses, was always a simple young man. Son to a successful businessman father, leader in the production of burlap. While away on a business trip to India for his father he became lost during a safari. While wandering lost in the wilds he came upon an ancient shrine with a mysterious idol inside. Upon reaching out and touching the idol he was transformed and imbued with super powers. He could now fly, was super strong and can create a powerful plasma energy shooting out at his foes. Only He wasn't 'he' anymore, Maxwell had transformed into a woman as well! Eventually he learned he could control the transformation to male/female and thus his alter ego was born - Spectrum! It was only while in the form of Spectrum that his powers can manifest or are strongest. He keeps these identities hidden from public so no one knows they are connected. After many years coming to terms with these changes and making a name for himself in the textile business he has finally reached back out to his father once more coming into the family fold and joining his venture with his father's booming business. But all was not as well at home as appeared. Maxwell's father was becoming ill with a wasting disease and was becoming very dependant upon Maxwell. Meanwhile unbeknownst to both of them the newly invented steam turbines, created by faithful family friend Bartholomew, powering the factory had caught the eye of the sinister Hot Air Antagonists or HAA!

Fenrick Winchester the 3rd

Fenrick is a space otter from some distant Galaxy. Originally he's from a planet home to a race of intelligent space faring otters the size of a medium dog. Fenrick too gained his powers after coming into contact with a strange idol he found exploring some ruins on his homeworld. Fenrick had become super stretchy and fast. He was also now impervious to the cold and from being crushed or any blunt impact. He's also discovered that every once in awhile he could wiggle his cute adorable whiskers and create his own 'good luck'. Soon after gaining these powers however his close-minded people shunned him and eventually Fenrick was banished from his homeworld. After some time wandering aimlessly across the cosmos eeking out an existence he became heavily addicted to alcohol from the traumas and depression of his life. So much so that he could no longer utilize his powers without being drunk. Eventually he was discovered and befriended by a being by the name of Garluk. Garluk was a member of a group of superpower wielding intergalactic beings called the League of Altered Malcontent Entities, or LAME for short. Benevolent in nature it consists of a group of supers seeking others like themselves to protect and grow whilst investigating the source(s) to these powers. Under Garluk's tutelage Fenrick became a member of LAME and was soon handed his first solo mission to find a newly detected 'Altered Entity' on the planet known as Earth, help them and if possible get to join LAME. Armed with a ray gun and Power detector to find this new entity Fenrick set off in a spaceship. However being a hopeless drunk upon reaching Earth he crashed near the last Power detection point of Scarborough, England destroying his craft and any way to contact LAME.
